Reduce the cost of care with the Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

Eligible families can receive subsidies of up to 85% on Your OSHC fees with the Child Care Subsidy (CCS). We strongly recommend you apply for the CCS to determine your eligibility.

Your eligibility for the subsidy is determined by your family’s annual adjusted taxable income, an activity test and the type of childcare service you are using.

To find out if you are eligible, simply log into MyGov and complete your Child Care Subsidy Assessment. You will receive a notification from Centrelink if your claim has been assessed and/or approved.

How do I apply for Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

You’ll need to apply for CCS through Centrelink, via your MyGov account.

You’ll receive a notification from Centrelink if your claim has been assessed or approved.

When will my Child Care Subsidy (CCS) be applied to my bill?

Once your CCS is approved;

Ensure your child’s details, including their Customer Reference Number (CRN) and date of birth (for both child/ren and parent) are up to date in our system
Confirm the Kidz Kamp enrolment via MyGov

Once this is done your CCS will automatically be applied prior to your statement being issued to you.

How do I confirm the new CCS Enrolment on MyGov?

1. Log into your MyGov account
2. Select Centrelink
3. Click on the Menu (3 bars top left of the screen)
4. Expand Child Care
5. Select Enrolments – check all your children have an enrolment status of Confirmed.
